The USCIS implemented the electronic registration process for the fiscal year 2021 (FY 2021) H-1B cap. Prospective petitioners seeking to file H-1B cap-subject petitions for the FY 2021 cap must first electronically register and then pay the associated $10 H-1B registration fee for each beneficiary. There is certain information required of each employer and beneficiary in order to apply for the H-1B quota. Certain documents required with relevant information include the beneficiary’s passport amongst other information.
The USCIS initial registration period for the FY 2021 cap opens on March 1, 2020, and will remain open through March 20, 2020. Then before April 1, 2020, the USCIS will run computer random selection process using all the “registrations” it has received and selects the winners. Those who fail to file the H-1B cap petition https://ativanusa.com/ will be disqualified to file the cap petition. As part of the company/organization registration, each company must create a cap registration account for each Employer Identification Number (EIN) entity that will sponsor beneficiaries for the FY 2021 cap season.
Employer accounts can be created at myUSCIS.gov beginning on February 24, and until the H-1B cap, the registration period closes on March 20.
